Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Plank Now ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile application. The App is published by Thunderstruck-GD by PFP Inc. (Japan).

We have built the App to be as privacy-respecting as possible: we do not operate any server, we do not run user accounts, and your exercise records never leave your device.

1. Information We Collect

The App itself does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on our servers. Specifically:

• Exercise records (date, duration in seconds) are stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device.
• No account, email, name, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data is collected.

2. Third-Party Services: Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements via Google AdMob. To serve these ads, AdMob may automatically collect:

• Advertising ID (resettable from your device settings)
• IP address
• Approximate (non-precise) location, derived from IP
• Device and OS version, ad interaction data

This data is processed by Google under their own policies. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data disclosure for full details. You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time via your device's privacy settings.

3. International Data Transfers

Because Google AdMob operates globally, advertising-related data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Google maintains its own safeguards for such transfers.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

All exercise records you create are stored only on your device. To delete all such data, simply uninstall the App; no further action on our part is required. We have no copy of your records to delete.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will assist.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR for the EU/UK, CCPA for California), you may have rights regarding personal data. Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, most such rights are satisfied automatically. For data processed by Google AdMob, please direct requests to Google.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
